Narrogin Commemorative
Jubilee Grand Prix

SmokeFree WA

50 years ago the Town of Narrogin was host to the first ever Australian Grand Prix held in Western Australia.
The Commonwealth Jubilee Australian Grand Prix was held in Narrogin as part of the Australia wide celebrations to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Federation.

On the 50th anniversary of that event, Narrogin Town Council in association with the Vintage Sports Car Club of W.A. Inc., staged a series of 'on the streets' events.

The 2001 event was run around a circuit of town streets, shown below. This is based on the original 1951 circuit and will hopefully feature many of the original drivers and cars. A full list of drivers and car entered is available, click here.
