My first trip away by plane was to Kalgoorlie to the KCGM gold mine. This
photo gives a view of one corner of the biggest hole in the ground you have
ever seen! A rotating panorama is avaialable here.
Those dump trucks that look like Dinky toys are enormous.
I don't always get to travel by plane!

Next I flew to Newman in the Pilbera, here is an Ansett plane at Newman Airport
and this is the Newman Shire Offices (that view just for Councillor Crosby!)
Next it was off to Port Hedland.

Another trip away was to Wiluna Gold Mine, Landing at Wiluna Airport.

This is the only building for as far as the eye can see. The sign by the
water tank says "Welcome to Wiluna Airport"!
