Mandurah is a town about 2 hours south of Edgewater (i.e. about 1 1/2 south of Perth) that is leading the push to "canal living". Artificial canals are built in from the sea and housing estates constructed so that everybody gets a water frontage. We went on a canal tour to peer at the houses and also for the chance to see some dolphins.
