Kalgoorlie, like much of of Perth, especially south of the river, is full of
Jacaranda trees.
These shot was taken from a bedroom of the Mercure Hotel in Kalgoorlie and shows
the trees in bloom. Alistairs' wife, Susan, calls them "bluebells in the
air"..........
