On 3/6/2001 Kenn moved into his first Australian home, in Kallaroo, north of Perth. About a 2 min drive from the beach, convenient for work and less than 20 minutes from Perth city centre, it seemed a perfect location.
It was a 3 bedroom house, 1 master bedroom with on-suite...
complete with pervy mirrored wall, 2 spare bedrooms and another bathroom and seperate toilet, huge sunken living room with connected dining room ....
(view of dining room from living room). The living room opens onto a enclosed 'sleep-out'
which is sided on one side by the garden
and on the other by the
carport. The dining room is connected by swing doors (very 70's this house!) to the kitchen and through to the games room, which has off it the washroom and opens onto the patio.
These photos were taken the day after moving in.
Kallaroo was a nice place to live, handy for work, the beach and Whitford Shopping Centre. However, after 6 months, when the work position was made permanent, it was time to move on and buy something I could alter to suit me.Thus after a brief search, I moved to Edgewater.
