In November 2006, Eve Taylor who had been a workmate with Joan in the UK, arrived for a short visit to W.A.
Kenn was designated taxi driver and tour guide for the first couple of days. On her arrival they had a tour of the Bell Tower and Kings Park in Perth. The following day they visited Fremantle Maritime Museum where Eve took in the tour of the submarine Ovens. They they spent teh afternoon visiting Churchman Brook and Canning Dams.
