Long term friend and ex-neighbour, Di has arrived for a holiday in Western Australia.
Her Qantas plane touched down exactly on time at a deserted Perth International airport.
Despite having not seen Kenn for over 20 years she recognised him immediately at the airport and was soon reunited with Joan & Mel.
Joan and Mel introduced Di to May whilst Kenn fetched the car from the outer reaches of a paddock where it had been required to be parked - despite its ACROD sticker (why? we don't know but watch the blog to find out).
Once we were all loaded aboard we set off to an introductory tour of Perth, a drive down the still-beautiful Riverside Drive and a coffee by the Lucky Shag
Cafe
and a trip up the Bell Tower
then off for a walk in Kings Park.
We then had drive throught Peppermint Grove, up the coast via Scarborough Beach and back to Kennz for a BBQ just as the sun set.
