Following Kenn the Rain God's arrival into Western Australia, the climate changed in a way global warming followers never imagined. This previously dry arid continent got its highest ever recorded rainfall for a January. This lead to many of the country roads being washed away by floods. Even suburbs of Perth had severe floods.
On January 28 th 2000, Kenn and Garry (who works for WA Main Roads) went for a 487k drive round to ascertain the latest state of the roads and report on damage. Below are some of the photos they took
