Debbie was born in Nottingham and when she started work
she followed a family tradition and worked for Boots the Chemists. She met
and married Steve and after a few years they emigrated to Australia after
her parents holiday there fired their enthusiasm for life in a new country.
By the time Joan and Mel arrived to join them Debbie and Steve had sadly
parted. Debbie continued to work in the pharmaceutical trade, working for
a family firm in Narrogin. She has since found happiness with her new husband
Garry and they have a lovely son Adam and daughter Emma. Debbie plays squash and enjoys
cycling. She still does an occasional days work at the chemists and also
keeps in touch with other mothers of young children at the local play group.
Adam is an active child and she believes her most important role now is
to devote her time to him and his sister.
